I made a promotional video for the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia’s Master in City & Technology.

I shot the interviews, all other footage was provided either by IAAC, or by YouTube (through Creative Commons license, of course).

In my words: The world is rapidly moving to cities, for good or bad. This Master redefines how to design cities by using technology and data. It’s not about what we think people want, it’s about asking them what they want, and listening to the numbers.

In their words: IAAC’s Master in City & Technology is a unique program oriented towards redefining the analysis, planning, and design of twenty-first-century cities and beyond. The program offers expertise in the design of digitally enhanced, ecological and human-centered urban environments by intersecting the disciplines of urbanism and data science. Taking place in Barcelona, the capital of urbanism, the Master in City & Technology is training the professionals that city administrations, governments, industries, and communities need, to transform the urban environment in the era of big data.
