Back in October 2020 I was hired by B-Engaged to film an interview for Hector Bellerin’s series Unseen Journey, a documentary style series of 9 episodes following the Arsenal player’s journey of dealing with a life changing knee injury.
Since then I’ve worked with them and their creative agency HIFEN to capture more content here in Spain.
Forward to September 2021, this time they contacted me about directing and shooting a mini-doc in Sevilla, following a young football club that help get kids off the streets by getting them to play football.
This mini-doc is one out of three initial documentaries to launch the Football for Peace campaign with StockX, a campaign demonstrating how football does not necessarily mean athletes earning millions, but can also be a tool for social change.
