I thought of this when I was reading a website about neurology, asking what is a thought.

I was wondering how deep is our knowledge of how a brain works. There’s a nice little GIF that shows what seems to be neurons with electricity travelling between them. Can we actually detect that energy? Do we know what these neurons are linked to? What does they do?
